One Tagaytay Place

Accomodation options in tagaytay are increasing. I remember fifteen years ago when you only have to choose between Taal Vista  Hotel or a roadside apartelle or inn. If you were on a budget you'd definitely contend with the not so nice inn overlooking Taal volcano. But nowadays modern hotels are sprouting like mushrooms on the ridge. And One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites is one of the best of the lot.

The hotel is located at Barrio Sungay West Tagaytay city. Coming from the Sta Rosa exit and past the Tagaytay Market , turn left at the junction. Look on your left and you will see a 7-11 store marking the entrance to the hotel.

Now what to expect. It has a fitness gym, roofdeck infinity swimming pool, spa/massage services, room service, restaurant, lounge bar.

We got a deluxe room. The room has a flat screen tv equipped with cable, a ref, coffee/tea making facility, hot and cold shower, toiletries. One thing though, the bathroom is too tiny.

It's a tight squeeze upon entering the bathroom door. So for bigger sized people you may want to consider availing of a one bedroom deluxe or penthouse room for a bigger sized toilet.

The bed is quite comfy. Published rate for this type of room is P 5,888 per night which includes breakfast for 2. If you check-in during peak season chances are you will get a buffet breakfast. Best if you contact their sales office for other perks and priviledges or promos they may have.

For affordable buffet lunch or dinner one must try the hotel's restaurant:Azalea Restaurant

Their infinity swimming pool is located at the lower penthouse.

And for those people who sometimes has taken fancy on the hotel room's duvet or ashtray or terry bathrobe , this hotel has taken the liberty to provide a price list for these amenities should you want to have these as a momento.
